After seeing this request I thought I’d document a few sites that I have bookmarked for when I need to know a bit more about photography.
Not being a true photographer by trade, but only dabbling when I have the time, inspiration and “guilt” for not doing it more. Here are some of the sites that I often take a sneak peek at and pretend that I knew it already
1. Strobist

Mainly about how to light the photo using various light sources. Far more than I do now as I don’t own a flash yet – and may not in the near future if I have a big tax bill this year.
2. Photojojo
I don’t spend much time here but there seems to be some interesting articles.
This seems to have a good forum to ask the questions.
4. Ken Rockwell

He seems to make a look of reviews about equipment. Not sure if he is paid or not.
5. iStock Photo

And for when you think you’re good enough; why not try and sell your creations at one of the many stock houses.
That’s all from me for now. I’ll add more once I organise my bookmarks in Firefox.

That’s a great list, thanks Andy! If I ever get to use the last one (as a seller) it’ll be a miracle!
