Planning my life part 2
It’s been a while since part 1, but other things have just got in the way. I still feel I need to do this so now it is time to evaluate what my current week is usually like and to see where I can make changes.
Now is the time to say that my better half didn’t quite get a full week recorded, in fact she didn’t manage to get half way. She did do a very good job on the first day. So I will have to make my evaluation first and see if it will prompt her to do it too.

To give you a little background, without giving too much away, there was about seven of us in the group; I think only one of us was a project manager, the others all had varying positions within teams from the same company. Most of us had never met each other before.
I explained to the teacher, as soon as I arrived, that I believed I had been put in the wrong course by accident. The reply given was pretty much what I was expecting, and as the course had already been paid for, nothing was going to change. Basically the course should be relevant to everyone.
My aim is to add an extra part of the course each week, and the link will be added to the contents list above. So bookmarking this page would be a good idea.
Redesigning my life – step 1
I’ve spent the last week or so pondering on what is missing in my life. I’m not saying I’m unhappy, just that I feel I could be doing more.
I’ve already started lessons twice a week on how to ice skate; one day I’ll post a video of me me falling flat on my arse. And I’ve tried language lessons (harder than I thought). Now it seems that things have settled down and are getting a little normal.
It’s time for a change. And this is the start.
Project managment course
I’ve just completed a three day project management course; in two days.
Why was it two? It was originally planned to start on Wednesday, but due to the typhoon we lost a day. So we had a choice of either rescheduling the last day or try to complete it all in a shorter time.
Let me get this in the open now – I’m not a project manager. I’m not even trying to be one. But the course was very interesting and I think it can definitely bring some valuable learning to my current position.
So I thought this would be an ideal topic to share with others, and be a worthwhile exercise to record my learnings. So that is precisely what I intend to do over the next few posts.
It may take a while to write all so I will break them into smaller chunks,
so watch this space
