We started the day wearing a red woggle made from Christmas ribbon wound around our woggles.
Later we found ourselves on the island, walking in the middle of the road, and no cars anywhere. Spooky.
It was really nice.
We had been commenting to ourselves on how quiet it was, until we turned a corner and at that moment fireworks boomed in front of us. Everybody had been staring to the sky; like day of the triffids.
