I made a visit to the new ice rink to find out how it compared to the others in town. It does seem to look like an after thought when you compare it to MegaBox – where is the seating around the edge for spectators?
The cost was also a little on the high side. They have a pay per minute system and at 1 dollar per minute that aint cheap. Plus you have to pay extra for hiring the boots and 6 dollars per hour for the locker!
They can keep their rink – we’ll stick to MegaBox, even if it is a little crowded.
